General Sales Terms

Scope

These general terms and conditions govern the illustration, graphic design, and design services provided by Cathy Yersin, an independent illustrator based in Switzerland, for her professional and private clients.

Quotation and Order

Every service is subject to a written and personalized quotation. The order becomes final and binding after the quotation has been approved and the requested deposit has been paid.

Pricing

Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and are exclusive of taxes. They are valid for the period specified in the quotation.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated, a 30 % deposit is required upon ordering. The balance is due upon delivery of the final files. Payments should be made by bank transfer within 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Deadlines

The deadlines indicated in the quotation are provided for information purposes only. They depend on the client’s availability (approvals, feedback, provision of necessary elements) and cannot be guaranteed by the illustrator in case of delays.

Intellectual Property

The creations remain the intellectual property of Cathy Yersin until full payment is received. The transfer of usage rights is specified in the quotation and is limited to the agreed-upon use (medium, duration, territory).

Cancellation

If the client cancels the order after work has begun, the deposit will be retained, and any work already completed will be billed pro rata.

Disputes and Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the courts of the canton where the illustrator resides shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
